Conduction-process where energy is directly transmitted through a substance when there is a difference of temp. or of electrical potential between adjoining regions, without movement of the material.
Radiation-is described as the transfer of heat energy by electromagnetic waves without involving particles.
Conductor-any piece of material that easily allows heat or electricity to pass through it. Many different materials can be conductors but metals are the best conducting materials that are available to us.
Calories- Calorie is 1,000 calories. A calorie is a unit of energy.
